ABOUT
Hello! Welcome to my website...
Carpentry has always being an enjoyable and celebrated part of my life. At a very young age I remember the exuberant joy from my family (especially my Dad) as I brought back home the latest carpentry project; I remember a birdhouse, a side table, a carving of a lion and a tool box - and that joy of designing, creating and building things made out of wood lives on.
For 25 years I worked as a music teacher, but the holidays were full of practical projects (usually doing up houses) and carpentry was never far away. In 2017 I took the plunge to change careers and become a full-time professional carpenter.
Most of my work has been creating storage in the form of wardrobes, cupboards and shelving and I learnt how to achieve the best results quickly. Outdoor projects are also ambitious and enjoyable. Carpentry suits me because I am meticulous in my approach and I have a keen eye for detail.
My family and Honey, our fox red lab remain of central importance in my life and I am so fortunate to enjoy working in a large workshop surrounded by Dorset's beautiful countryside.
